Rather than forcing everyone to pose, I encourage families to interact, play and enjoy the experience while I capture genuine moments.

What is the best location for a family photoshoot in Lisbon?
Lisbon has many beautiful options for family photography, from historic streets and viewpoints to open spaces and waterfront locations. I can recommend locations based on your children’s ages, mobility and the type of photographs you want.
How long should a Lisbon family photoshoot be?
A one-hour session works well for most families. A two-hour session is a better choice for larger families, young children or families who want to visit more than one location. Extended sessions of 2.5–3+ hours are also available.
Are family photoshoots suitable for young children?
Absolutely. The session doesn’t require children to sit still or pose throughout. I allow time for them to move, play and interact naturally, while capturing both candid moments and family portraits
What happens if our children don’t want to pose?
That’s completely fine. I don’t expect children to pose perfectly. Instead, I use simple activities, movement and interaction to create natural photographs while allowing the children to feel comfortable.
Can grandparents join our family photoshoot?
Yes. Grandparents and other family members are welcome. For larger or multi-generational families, I recommend a longer session so we have enough time for group photographs as well as smaller family combinations.
How many people can take part in a family photography session?
There is no strict standard group size. For larger families, I recommend the two-hour or extended experience, which gives us more time to photograph different combinations without rushing.
What should we wear for a Lisbon family photoshoot?
Comfortable clothing that works well together usually photographs best. Coordinating colors rather than wearing identical outfits creates a more natural look. For longer sessions, you can also bring an additional outfit.
Can we visit multiple locations during our family photoshoot?
Yes. The two-hour and extended experiences allow us to include multiple Lisbon locations and create more variety in your family gallery.
What happens if it rains on the day of our family photoshoot?
If the weather conditions are unsuitable for an outdoor session, we’ll discuss the best available option and, whenever possible, reschedule for a more suitable time.
How far in advance should we book a Lisbon family photographer?
I recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during summer, weekends and school holiday periods. If you already know your travel dates, contact me and I’ll check availability and help you choose the most suitable session.
Can you photograph our family during a holiday or special occasion?
Yes. Family sessions are ideal for vacations, birthdays, reunions and other special occasions. We can tailor the route and session length around your plans.
